Two years after dreaming of making spring balanced devices easily adjustable, on a summer afternoon in 2008 in a garden in the Weerribben, NHLO was founded in 2010 by Henk Schinkel and his two sons Edouard and Michaël Schinkel.  

Three years of research led to the invention of the Phantomspring technology: enabling us to build easily adjustable spring balanced devices.

We're now exploring a wide variety of possible application markets from our design, test & verification facilities in Utrecht, the Netherlands.

Our mission is to engage our Phantomspring technology in as many markets, applications and devices as possible. In order to do so we're looking for partners leading any particular market segment that could benefit from our knowlegde.

We aim to be a hands on technology partner: we like to work closely with our partners in order to optimize all conceivable parameters leading to the best, market leading products with Phantomspring technology inside.
